Warranty Time Guide

There are two versions of the Warranty Time Guide available, they both offer the same information. The Online version is fully web based. The Smart Client has a small program installed, on the PC, then draws the information from the online source.

Online Version

The Online Version of the Warranty Time Guide in the past has been mainly a demo of the PC Version. This is has changed. The Online Version now functions identically to the PC Version and we encourage our customers to switch to the Online Version for the following reasons:

Available anywhere, anytime
There is no application to install or update. Simply log on to the site and start coding - from any computer with an internet connection!
No updates required
That's right, the Online version is always up to date! The data is automatically updated. As soon as we know about a change, we can update the data and it is available in real-time. No waiting for new tapes or updates to download and install, saving you and your IT staff valuable time.
Future upgrades are immediate
Just as the data is immediately and automatically updated, the application itself can be updated in real-time. As soon as we have a new feature, we can publish it to the Online Version and everyone gets to use it immediately.

Smart Client (PC Based) Version

The new Smart Client Version of the Warranty Time Guide has been in use for over a year. We took all the great features of the Original program version and increased the information available for each vehicle. The Smart Client installs a small program on the the PC (you may need you IT person do the install) then draws it's information from the internet. It's quicker than the On-Line version and is updated whenever changes are made to the program or the data. When more features are added they are downloaded when you enter the program.

The future for this program is already in motion. Additional options and information have and will be added to help the dealers. We gear most changes to the ASM's, since they are the ones going face to face with the customers. The new features will help them answer those product knowledge questions we all get but never can lay our hands on that "piece of paper". The next logical step is using this as your Retail Flat Rate Time Guide for retail repairs. This addition is in the testing stage now and will be a release later in the year.
